On March 28, 2014, two cars crashed on Route 11 15. The Route 11 15 car accident killed one person in the crash and injured others. The car crash occured on Route 11 15 near the Cumberland County and Perry County border. A car traveling south on Route 11 15 collided with another vehicle traveling north. The vehicles erupted into flames. The driver of the southbound vehicle suffered extreme burns and died in the car accident. Others involved in the car accident suffered injuries and were taken to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
