FreebuMelissa Edwards 5K run/walkrn & Hamilton founder and personal injury lawyer Richard E. Freeburn was among nearly 200 people who participated in the 5th Annual Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk.

Freeburn & Hamilton was also a sponsor of the event, which raised more than $10,000 for the Womelsdorf Community Library.

The event honors Melissa Edwards, who died in a car accident in 2008 when she was a 17-year-old junior at Conrad Weiser High School. Freeburn & Hamilton was privileged to represent the Edwards family.

More people participated in this year’s Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk than ever before, said Bruce Edwards, Melissa’s father.

My husband recommended I come here after a work-related injury, and it was no mistake. They got me an appointment ASAP and took very great care of me. They were caring and willing to go the extra mile for me. They are great people at this firm and you can feel the positive energy from the moment you step through the doors. Definitely recommending to everyone who needs their type of work.
