Freeburn & Hamilton supports Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk

The 5th Annual Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk was held this past Saturday, April 27th.

FreebuMelissa Edwards 5K run/walkrn & Hamilton founder and personal injury lawyer Richard E. Freeburn was among nearly 200 people who participated in the 5th Annual Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk.

Freeburn & Hamilton was also a sponsor of the event, which raised more than $10,000 for the Womelsdorf Community Library.

The event honors Melissa Edwards, who died in a car accident in 2008 when she was a 17-year-old junior at Conrad Weiser High School. Freeburn & Hamilton was privileged to represent the Edwards family.

More people participated in this year’s Melissa Edwards 5K Run/Walk than ever before, said Bruce Edwards, Melissa’s father.

I would just like to “Thank You” for the help and services you provided to me during my difficult time following my motorcycle accident. Thanks to Mr. Freeburn and his fellow associates I was able to get back on my feet (financially) in a relatively short time. I would highly recommend your services to anyone in need of assistance following an accident like mine. Thank you again.
